Ah! I am still buzzing from our INSTA workshop last Saturday in Barcelona! If you haven’t seen my 100’s of photos on Instagram from the workshop, then here’s the full recap…
Also, stay tuned as I will be planning more in-person, live workshops in the future. To stay in the know sign up here (plus, you get access to my free creative library!) #winning
I partnered with my favorite international gal pal Terri Ann Daniels who is a brilliant business coach, genius mind behind Noise Whisper, and expert human connector. It was such an honor to collaborate with Terri Ann while she hosted the workshop and I taught. If you don’t know her yet, you HAVE to check her out.
We spent the afternoon at Aticco Cowork Space in Barcelona. We were so thankful to have had the opportunity to host our event here. It was truly a magical space with sleek + minimal design which made it perfecto for our workshop.
And the best part was the huge outdoor balcony at Aticco where we ate delicious food made by Teresia Tingström and Trybe. I have to admit that the food tasted just as good as it looks… with a healthy twist. Sweet potato brownies – so good!
If you are in the Barcelona area you have to check them out for delicious food made by professional chefs.
We started the workshop photographing the food to learn how to style and shoot delicious flat lays. And then we devoured the food shortly after (of course) while we went around the table and talked about how we can each support each other in business and in life. It was an honest, real, and beautiful conversation. We kept the event small just for this special reason.
After we ate all the yummy food, we photographed and styled our flat lays with fabulous props + bikinis from As Santana BCN and other local designers + brands.
My heart was so full after seeing the beauty these wonderful babes put together. Here are a few examples of the magical work they created…
And let’s face it – it can be challenging to get quality photos of yourself. Building a personal brand on Instagram is all about sharing YOU. I’m sure you know that having photos to compliment that is important.
Instead of asking random strangers, your boyfriend, girlfriend, sister, cousin, grandma to take photos of you – we set aside time to teach each of our INSTA students how to take great photos of each other. They left the workshop with badass, fun, crazy, colorful photos of themselves to share via Instagram.
The second part of the workshop was all about putting everything into action. We covered how to edit our photos like a pro, growth strategies to grow our followings organically and with intention, how to create content that feels good + authentic, all of the wonders of insta stories and how it’s the best tool to connect with our audiences. We closed out the workshop with a cozy, intimate Q&A – and with champagne, of course!
I’m so thankful to have met these beautiful humans and seeing their photos after the workshop made me cry happy tears + do a celebratory dance (all at the same time).
This workshop sparked something inside of me and I cannot stop thinking about doing more. Where should we do our next one? Let me know in the comments 😉
